R-V. Family and Maternity Session | New York Family Photographer

Back in April, I photographed this beautiful mama and her daughter as they shared with the world their excitement for the new baby girl that was on its way. Four months later, we met again for a family photo session. The sun setting over a serene and elegant garden overlooking the Hudson was perfect for this warm and bighearted family.

Their new addition has arrived (this post came a bit late) and I will be sharing newborn photos shortly. All my love and best wishes to them. Love you guys.

R-N Family Maternity Session | Queens, NY Family Photographer

It was such a pleasure to do this session for a dear friend and her family. I've known her since our pre-teen years and it's always fun and interesting to see how people evolve and grow to have families of their own. You realize after a while that they haven't changed much over the years, that just like you, they've experienced life and learned from it, shifting their priorities and perspectives along the way.  We no longer see each other much but, through our children we get a glimpse and reminder of who were, how we smiled and looked at life back then. My friend's daughter reminded me much of her in our school years and so did her son who, though quiet for much of the session, resembled the maturity and warmth of his mom. I can't wait to see the new addition to this happy and loving family, who will bring even more joy to their lives. My best wishes to them all.

Fresh 48, Hospital Newborn Session | New York City Newborn Photographer

I'm very excited to share my first "Fresh 48" session. Fresh 48 sessions consists of a photo session taken during a newborn's first 48 hours, at the location of his/her birth. Those first hours and days seem to fly by and most times, after years go by, it becomes harder to remember details like (among other things) the location, mom and dad's expressions while holding the newborn, or (my favorite) the tiny wrinkled fingers and toes.

This baby boy is very special to me and I'm so happy that I was able to capture him during his first couple of days. Welcome to the world, little one. You are very much loved.
