Hi there! I'm Joanne, a New Yorker with LOVE for photography.  My passion began when I returned to New York from the Caribbean after 13 years of absence; I found myself in awe of the city, it’s people, the colors, the ordinary and extraordinary that characterizes it. I would walk it’s streets for hours and photograph everything and anything.  Five years later, a blog full of notes and street photography, I was suddenly capturing every moment of my first newborn’s life. Since then, my camera and I have been on a completely different path from where we began and I've loved every moment of it.

I love capturing those unexpected moments that forever live in a photograph. The smiles, the joy, the playful hands. These are the things that I pay most attention to and seek when photographing families. I shoot in natural light and prefer most of my images to have a natural and candid feel to them. I love vibrant colors just as much as the beauty and timelessness of black and white images. If my images tell a story or make you smile, then I've done my job and I'm one happy gal.

So, who am I? I'm a wife, mother of two lovely girls, a daydreamer and coffee addict.
